The R.V. Callista is a 19.75 m catamaran designed and equipped for a range of coastal and shelf research. This purpose-built vessel is designed to undertake a variety of work including:
Deployment of scientific equipment Collection of biological, chemical and sediment samples Surveying Diving operations Geophysics Educational visits by external groups including schools, colleges, universities and others.
Our vessels are manned by appropriately qualified crew who have extensive local knowledge and experience in the deployment of scientific equipment and sample collection. The vessels are all licenced by the MCA.
All vessels carry basic standard equipment, but can be further fitted from our range of oceanographic field equipment to suit individual requirements. Vessels may also be available for commercial hire.
