Sea trials are costly in terms of time, money, equipment and personnel.
Trial conditions cannot be controlled, mistakes can be extremely expensive and costs due to delays in waiting for the right weather soon mount up. Our range of simulators coupled with our design expertise and experience provides a cost-effective means of testing your vehicle and makes development quicker, more efficient and simpler.
Every vessel has its own unique challenges. Our process of simulation, electronic system engineering, and sea trialling provides us with a unique advantage of speed to market. We are able to offer control and navigation electronics, power management and UHF and Satellite communication alongside many other systems to make our clients’ vision a success.
What thruster systems will work best on which vehicle? How should the thrusters and control actuators be configured? Dynautics brings to bear its experience with a wide range of vehicles, including manned submarines, Work Class ROVs, and surface craft from the smallest (1m or less) up to fast patrol boats. We work with our clients to achieve the optimum propulsion and control actuator configuration to make the client’s mission a success. Using our simulators, we can help our clients to assess the effectiveness of the configuration at the design stage.
This means that fewer sea trials will be required and they will be more successful, because many of the teething problems will have been solved earlier in the process.
