Mooring

A new venture for Southern Maritime Services, we now offer a full 24/7 quayside line handling and mooring service to our customers. We regularly manage between 4 and 6 ships on a regular basis depending on the season.

We have a large pool of line handlers available all of whom have been trained to deliver a safe and effective service by our internal ITSSAR accredited instructors. We can meet your labour expectations, whether small or large, and are able to respond quickly to ad hoc requests.

All our line handlers are provided with PPE that meets the BSEN471 standard. This clothing is regularly audited by our internal H&S Manager to ensure it is always fit for purpose.
