HPC clusters

The cluster currently consists of two groups of nodes all connected with 40GHz Infiniband networking for MPI commutation and 1G Ethernet for job management and file storage. The first group consists of two 48 core servers based on AMD 6174 processors with 64G/160GG of ram and the second set consist of twelve 16 cores servers based on INTEL E5-2670 processors with 48G of ram. The system has 2.8TB of user disk space and 4.8TB of potential scratch disk space.
