Gyrocompasses

Teledyne TSS is synonymous with marine gyrocompasses and steering systems through its SG Brown heritage. For more than 100 years products have been designed and manufactured by the company for commercial marine and naval defense customers worldwide.

The product range includes mechanical, solid state and fiber optic, surface and subsea gyrocompasses for a range of commercial marine navigation and specialist survey applications. The range is complemented by a comprehensive suite of repeaters and ancillaries including a changeover system, an uninterruptible power supply and a data distribution unit.

Many of our gyrocompasses and ancillary products are Wheelmark, International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and Det Norske Veritas (DNV) approved.
