Nortek AS

Nortek AS is a scientific instrumentation company that develops and manufactures acoustic Doppler instrumentation. This includes Doppler Velocity Logs (DVLs) used for navigation in the subsea, and Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) and current meters for use in the open ocean, coastal environments, rivers, lakes and laboratories. Our diverse product portfolio supports measurements for navigation applications, waves, turbulence and long-range current profiles. Our customers are scientists, research institutions, and consulting engineers, all with demanding applications requiring state-of-the-art instrumentation that is reliable and easy to use.

Nortek is composed of a dedicated team of well-trained technicians, engineers, and oceanographers. Our main office is outside of Oslo, Norway where we undertake product development, assembly and testing. Nortek have subsidiaries in the US, UK, France, the Netherlands, China, Japan, Australia and Brazil. In other areas, our products are distributed by regional representatives.
