Research Vessel Services provides professional marine technician support to ocean and coastal research vessels across the globe at competitive day rates. Our team is made up of highly qualified technicians from the top institutes with over 40 years "at sea" experience spanning 400 global expeditions on both European and US research vessels.
Our technicians have experience supporting expeditions at all stages of the cruise lifecycle from technical assessment of cruise proposals through to mobilisation, at sea support, demobilisaton, post-cruise assessment and cruise legacy management.
We can also provide additional technical assistance to embedded technicians during vessel dry docking and refit periods All our technicians are qualified operator/maintainers of Kongsberg blue water systems including EM710, EM120 and EM302 multibeam systems. Our team members hold ROV Pilot/Technician, high voltage, post processing and STCW qualifications as-standard.
